Food Photography Portfolio

Photographing food is one of our main areas of expertise. We have done work for some of South Africa's top restaurants including Reuben's, Haute Cabriére and Grande Provence as well as many South African magazines and newspapers. One of the most important things to consider when hiring food photographers is the question of how long each item will take to be photographed. Food will generally start to look flat and lifeless as soon as it hits the warmth of photographic lights - for this reason it is vital that whoever photographs your food knows their lighting setup backwards and that they can work quickly and adapt to handle any situation. Our food photography lighting setup consists of two high-powered flash units to minimize the time that the food is exposed to the light and heat.
